Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and efficient functioning of all warehouse operations. This includes overseeing receiving, warehousing, material handling, storage, and distribution activities. The role ensures adherence to operational policies, safety protocols, and quality standards while developing a high-performing and resilient warehouse workforce.

Job Context:

The role oversees end-to-end warehouse operations to support business objectives and ensure seamless supply chain continuity.

The Warehouse Manager must ensure:

- Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

- Maintenance of confidentiality regarding company information.

- Full adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) guidelines and safe working procedures.

- Execution of additional duties as required to support operational efficiency and service quality.

Key Accountabilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

- Manage all physical and system-based warehouse transactions.

- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials.

- Ensure effective finished goods management and accurate shipping based on authorized documentation.

- Ensure timely weekly issuance of materials to production as per transfer orders.

Inventory & Stock Accuracy:

- Maintain defined inventory accuracy levels through periodic cycle counts and stock audits.

- Supervise NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management and ensure proper clearance of rejected materials.

- Ensure readiness of spare parts in line with the sales plan.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety.

- Achieve zero discrepancies in internal and external audits.

- Optimize warehouse space, ensure proper housekeeping, and maintain 5S & H&S standards.

- Improve packaging processes to eliminate non-value-added (NVA) activities.

Team Leadership & Training:

- Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure operational excellence.

- Build an enduring culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Maintain workforce discipline and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Coordinate effectively with production, logistics, procurement, and quality teams.

- Ensure seamless interdepartmental communication for timely parts issuance and material movement.

- Manage and monitor subcontractor activities related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Full-time Diploma or Degree in any discipline (preferably Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields).

Minimum Experience:

- 15+ years of managerial experience in warehouse operations.

Job-specific Skills:

- Strong knowledge of ERP systems related to warehouse transactions.

- Solid understanding of inventory management, warehousing best practices, and logistics processes.

- Ability to lead large teams and drive performance improvements.
