Job Purpose:

To manage and execute Secondary Logistics operations for the South Zone, ensuring timely dispatches, optimal freight cost, transit accuracy, and smooth coordination between CFAs, distributors, HO team, transporters, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate daily stock reports and stock-in-transit reports and share with HO Team.

- Track transit stocks, follow up with transporters, and update HO and PAN-India CFAs.

- Monitor transit damages and coordinate carton requirements across CFAs.

- Coordinate and raise daily indents to transporters based on sales orders.

- Allocate vehicles based on cost-effective freight options.

- Ensure secondary freight costs remain within budget.

- Ensure zero detention/halting charges for transporters and CFAs.

- Arrange empty cases for repacking pressed stocks and dispatch as required.

- Negotiate freight with local/UPC transporters for FTL orders.

- Verify Transporter/CFA freight bills and share with Logistics Team for payment.

- Monitor daily dispatches across all zonal CFAs and ensure completion within 24-48 hours.

- Track secondary transit from CFAs to RS points, ensuring adherence to standard Transit Time (TIT).

- Regularly validate TIT for primary and secondary lanes using Google Maps and transporter inputs to reduce delays.

- Conduct batch rectification with HO on a regular basis.

- Coordinate with Sales & Depots for SMS/NMS old stock liquidation.

- Execute route mapping for maximum load clubbing for distributors.

- Coordinate with HO for liquidation plans and scheme approvals.

- Visit South Zone regions to identify and onboard new transporters.

- Ensure proper stock handling and storage to minimize damage.

- Develop new/alternative transporters to reduce secondary freight and replace underperformers.

- Enforce FIFO method for all dispatches.

- Oversee dispatches for General Trade and Modern Trade.

- Raise insurance damage claims, coordinate with surveyors, transporters & CFAs for documentation.

- Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports with HO.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Secondary Logistics / CFA operations / Dispatch & Transport Management.

- Strong knowledge of freight optimization, transit tracking, transporter management, and cost control.

- Skilled in Excel, reporting, route planning, and TIT analysis.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.

- Experience managing logistics across South India is preferred.
