Key Responsibilities:

- Actively manage and monitor the long-short portfolio, making timely adjustments to optimize returns and mitigate risks.

- Develop and implement effective long-short investment strategies based on thorough market analysis, economic trends, and risk assessment.

- Conduct in-depth research on potential investment opportunities, assess market conditions, and analyze financial statements to make informed investment decisions.

- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the portfolio from market fluctuations and unexpected events.

- Ensure trades are executed on a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with fund objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk parameters.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the long-short fund, making data-driven decisions to enhance overall returns.

- Communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights to clients and distributor partners.

- Write research notes on the fund and market for media presence.

- Work closely with research analysts, traders, and other team members to gather insights, share expertise, and collectively contribute to the fund's success.

- Stay informed about industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes, adjusting strategies as needed to align with evolving market conditions.

- Participate in strategy discussions and contribute to the development of new trading approaches and product ideas.

- Improvement and implementation of new idea on existing product.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and internal policies governing fund management activities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements:

- CFA, CA, Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a fund manager, particularly in long-short strategies.

- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial markets.

- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
