Location: Bangalore or Coimbatore.

Role Summary:
The Deputy General Manager Business Transformation will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across Healthcare RCM operations, with a strong focus on Medical Coding (mandatory), Billing, and Accounts Receivable (AR).
This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, capability building, and cross-functional program execution, delivering measurable improvements in quality, productivity, scalability and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Transformation & Program Leadership:
- Lead and govern cross-functional transformation programs aligned to business priorities.
- Define program roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable outcomes.
- Provide executive visibility on progress, risks, and impact.
- Own end-to-end accountability for program outcomes, including business impact realization.
Learning & Development (Capability Transformation):
- Design and implement organization-wide L&D strategies across Coding, Billing, and AR.
- Assess training needs and build structured capability development programs.
- Drive adoption of learning platforms and measure effectiveness through defined outcome metrics (e.g., quality improvement, productivity uplift, error reduction).
- Partner with external vendors for specialized training interventions.
Process Re-engineering & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
- Lead process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
- Institutionalize data-driven, continuous improvement culture across the organization.
- Drive standardization and scalability of best practices across teams.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
- Act as a change leader, ensuring adoption and sustainability of transformation initiatives.
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Core Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Mandatory: Deep domain expertise in Medical Coding with experience leading coding operations at scale.
- Hands-on experience in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Proven track record in business transformation / operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong program management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical orientation with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in Learning & Development strategy and execution.
- Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 12 - 15 years of experience in Healthcare RCM / BPO / ITES.
- 4+ years in senior leadership roles (Sr. Manager / DGM or equivalent), with hands-on experience in leading large-scale transformation or program management initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing large teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
