Logistics Manager/Senior Logistics Manager - Retail

Responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, warehouse management, and last-mile delivery for retail/e-commerce distribution, ensuring timely and cost-efficient movement of goods.

Job Summary:

- The Logistics Manager / Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's logistics and distribution network. The role involves planning, managing, and optimizing transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery operations to ensure seamless product movement across the supply chain.

- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in e-commerce or retail logistics, hands-on knowledge of 3PL management, and the ability to implement efficient, scalable, and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily logistics and distribution operations including transportation, dispatch, and delivery.

- Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment centers to ensure smooth order processing.

- Plan and execute cost-effective logistics strategies to reduce operational costs.

- Liaise with internal teams (Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain Planning) for timely dispatches.

- Handle vendor and 3PL partner relationships, contracts, and performance monitoring.

- Analyze logistics performance metrics (TAT, delivery accuracy, vehicle utilization, cost per delivery).

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and government logistics regulations.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Graduate / MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics Management.

- 6-12 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in retail or e-commerce companies.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, transportation planning, and 3PL operations.

- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems and data-driven decision-making.

- Excellent communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
