Logistics Manager

- The Logistics & Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading and managing the demand planning team and the 3PL warehouse to ensure the process from sales demand planning to order shipment and invoicing is conducted professionally and in a timely manner.

- This role involves coordinating supply chain activities with partners like warehouses, forwarders, and vendors to achieve sales and inventory turnover targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supply Chain Coordination: Managing the flow of goods from the point of origin to the final customer.

- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of product storage and warehousing.

- Transportation & Distribution: Arranging and monitoring the movement of products via various transportation methods.

- Supplier & Carrier Management: Building relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing shipping rates with carriers.

- Process Optimization: Analyzing supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.

- Team Supervision: Directing and supervising the logistics team and other relevant departments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

- 1-3 years of relevant experience in freight pricing within a freight forwarding or logistics organization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of global freight forwarding operations and pricing mechanisms

- Proficiency in MS Excel, rate management tools, and CRM systems

- Excellent analytical and financial acumen

- Effective communication and negotiation skills

- Proven ability to manage multiple pricing requests and work under tight deadlines

- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
