Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist

Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to manage and optimize logistics operations across our supply chain network. This role focuses on ensuring timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and operational excellence in warehousing, transportation, and last-mile fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end logistics operations including inbound, outbound, and last-mile delivery.

- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

- Optimize transportation routes and warehouse processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.

- Monitor and analyze KPIs such as delivery timelines, freight costs, and inventory accuracy.

- Implement process improvements and automation initiatives for logistics efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

- Prepare and maintain reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and operational metrics.

- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams for seamless operations.

Required Experience:

- Total Experience: 58 years in logistics and supply chain management.

- Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years in e-commerce or retail logistics.

- Strong knowledge of transportation management, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.

- Experience with ERP systems and logistics management tools.

- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.

- Exposure to process optimization and cost control initiatives.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field.

- MBA or equivalent preferred.

Skills Required:

- Expertise in logistics planning and execution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and data-driven decision-making.

- Knowledge of WMS, TMS, and emerging technologies in logistics.
