Lodha Group - Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Project Finance

Role: Project Finance (AGM/DGM)

Location: Mumbai

Residential | Commercial Real Estate | Warehousing | Data Centers

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Fund Raising & Structuring:

- Drive end- to- end debt raising mandates from banks, NBFCs, and capital markets.

- Structure innovative and optimized financing solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Develop and present investment proposals, financial models, term sheets, and transaction documentation.

2. Transaction Execution:

- Lead negotiations with lenders to secure competitive terms.

- Execute high- value transactions from mandate to financial closure.

3. Lender & Stakeholder Management:

- Develop strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and capital market participants.

- Lead due diligence processes and coordinate documentation, security creation, and compliance.

- Ensure seamless drawdowns and adherence to pre- and post- disbursement conditions.

4. Risk Monitoring & Compliance:

- Monitor funded projects, identify early warning signals, and proactively manage lender expectations.

- Maintain deep understanding of project approvals, legal documentation, mortgage, and registration processes.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and banking guidelines.

5. Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight:

- Stay abreast of developments in project finance, credit markets, and structured finance.

- Contribute to capital strategy and financing innovation.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align funding strategy with project timelines and business goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 7- 10 years of proven experience in Corporate credit / Debt syndication / Structured finance / Investment banking.

- Demonstrated track record in raising capital for Real Estate or Warehousing or Infrastructure or Data Centers.

Core Competencies:

- Exceptional transaction execution capabilities.

- Deep understanding of credit appraisal and banking systems.

- Exposure to Debt Capital Markets (DCM) preferred.

- Superior negotiation and relationship management skills.

- High commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

Qualifications: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent professional qualification
