Location Head - Logistics & Warehousing - Textile Industry

Role Overview:

As the Location Head for Logistics & Warehousing in Madhya Pradesh, you will serve as the primary architect of our regional supply chain operations. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of warehouse management, last-mile delivery, and inventory control, ensuring that our logistical footprint across the state remains agile and efficient.

This role demands a high-touch leadership approach, as you will collaborate closely with regional sales heads, corporate supply chain teams, and external logistics partners to synchronize operations with business growth. By optimizing throughput and maintaining rigorous service level agreements, you will directly influence customer satisfaction and the overall profitability of our regional operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct all warehouse and distribution center activities to ensure seamless inventory flow and order fulfillment for our regional client base.

- Manage cross-functional teams and third-party logistics providers to maintain operational excellence and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

- Analyze regional logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that reduce turnaround time and operational costs.

- Lead the strategic planning for infrastructure expansion and resource allocation to support the scaling requirements of the Madhya Pradesh market.

- Cultivate strong relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure uninterrupted supply chain continuity and proactive risk management.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale warehouse operations and complex distribution networks with a focus on lean methodology.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse, on-site teams while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities to interpret supply chain metrics and translate them into actionable business strategies.

- Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate effectively with vendors and communicate operational updates to senior leadership.

- A postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an MBA from a premier institute is highly preferred.

- High degree of adaptability to an on-site work environment, with the willingness to travel across various locations within Madhya Pradesh to oversee regional hubs.
