Position: Vice President / General Manager - India Studio (Social Casino & Shared Services)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President / General Manager to lead our India-based studio specializing in social casino slot games and shared services. This role blends strong leadership with business acumen, ensuring successful execution of software product development and high-quality outcomes. You will work closely with US studio stakeholders, define and track KPIs, and oversee team accountability, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership & Accountability: Lead and support the leadership team to ensure execution of software product development and product quality. Hold team members accountable for meeting targets and drive performance through mentorship and coaching.

- Software Product Development & Execution: Ensure alignment with the software development roadmap, making key decisions on features, scope, and releases. Drive alignment with company goals and market trends.

- Quality Oversight: While the team maintains product quality, you are ultimately accountable for ensuring the highest standards are met through effective quality assurance processes.

- Organizational Structure & Resource Allocation: Ensure the studio is resourced to achieve development goals. Work with teams to allocate resources efficiently and optimize roles and responsibilities.

- Cultural Leadership: Cultivate a high-performance culture in line with SciPlay's values, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

- Define and Track KPIs: Establish and monitor KPIs for software development performance, quality, and efficiency to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Collaboration with US Stakeholders: Interface with US stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and execution of software development.

- Provide Input into the SciPlay P&L: Collaborate with financial partners to contribute insights for budget management and resource allocation in line with business objectives.

- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Promote a mindset of continuous improvement, ensuring the team enhances processes, reduces time-to-market, and innovates for better user experience.

Key Requirements:

- Business Acumen & Leadership: Strong ability to track and manage KPIs, while ensuring software product development strategies align with financial goals. Demonstrated leadership in motivating and holding teams accountable to deliver results.

- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional teams in software product development or technology-driven environments.

- Team Mentorship & Accountability: Experience mentoring and developing leadership within a team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

- Software Product Development & Quality Oversight: Background in managing software product development and ensuring high-quality delivery. While you won't manage quality assurance directly, you are accountable for its outcomes.

- Operational & P&L Management: Ability to track budgets and financial performance, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with broader business goals.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to guide decisions and improve team performance, particularly in software development and business outcomes.

- Working with Global Teams: Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.

- Fluent in English: Strong communication skills (both spoken and written) to collaborate with teams and leadership across regions.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 18+ years of experience in software development, including at least 10 years in leadership roles, preferably in software product development or gaming-related product management.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven success leading teams responsible for software product development and ensuring high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of social casino or casual gaming.

- Experience working with global teams and operations in a matrixed organization.

- Strategic Oversight: Ability to define clear software development strategies and ensure team execution aligns with business goals.

- Quality-First Leadership: Oversee product quality and testing while ensuring high standards are met.

- Multitasking & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality and timelines.

- Travel Flexibility: Occasional international travel may be required to support business objectives.
