Role Purpose:
The DEI Lead will champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across Lloyds Technology Centre, embedding inclusive practices into every aspect of the employee lifecycle. This role will be instrumental in shaping a workplace culture that celebrates differences, fosters belonging, and ensures equitable access to opportunities. The DEI Lead will partner with leadership, HR, and business units to drive strategic DEI initiatives that align with Lloyds Banking Group's purpose of shaping finance as a force for good.
Key Focus Areas:
Strategic DEI Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy tailored to the Lloyds Technology Centre.
- Align DEI goals with business priorities and the broader group strategy.
- Establish measurable DEI objectives and track progress through data-driven insights.
Inclusive Talent Practices:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to embed inclusive hiring practices and reduce bias in recruitment.
- Support the creation of diverse talent pipelines, especially in tech, product, and data domains.
- Promote equitable career development and progression opportunities
Culture & Belonging:
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, respect, and belonging.
- Lead initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity, neurodiversity, gender equity, and other dimensions of identity.
- Facilitate employee resource groups (ERGs) and inclusion councils.
Capability Building & Awareness:
- Design and deliver DEI learning programs, workshops, and campaigns.
- Build DEI capability among leaders, managers, and teams.
- Promote allyship and inclusive leadership behaviors.
Data, Insights & Reporting:
- Use data to identify gaps, measure impact, and inform DEI strategy.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on DEI metrics.
- Ensure compliance with global DEI standards and ethical practices.
External Engagement & Brand Building:
- Represent Lloyds Technology Centre in external DEI forums and partnerships.
- Build the DEI brand in India through thought leadership and community engagement.
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance DEI impact and innovation.
Candidate Attributes:
