Description:
A successful Product Owner will have a lead role in the development of core system functionalities for the digital products s/he owns and will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and prioritization of the product backlog ensuring early learning and iterative delivery of outcomes. Also, to maximize the value of the product by defining the roadmap, priorities and clarity of the outcomes expected.
You will also be able to lead and manage scoping and detailing sessions, create user journeys, oversee documentation creation, create mind maps, support departmental ideation sessions and track and report on departmental and project KPIs.

Essential Job Duties:

- Carry out detailed analysis of business/customer needs, requirements, impact, scope, risks and
benefits
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog ensuring early learning and iterative delivery of outcomes
- Own the product roadmap and ensure it aligns the product roadmap to strategic goals
- Determine scope, direct the team in terms of epics and features to guide the scrum team
- Bring to life what change is required and what outcomes we are trying to achieve
- Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by development teams
- Work collaboratively with the delivery/scrum team to develop BDD scenarios create for the user stories that are aligned to the overall delivery of epics
- Play an active role during sprint planning meeting in clarifying the requirements and defining the sub tasks that need to be carried out to deliver the user story
- Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverables commitments.
- Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions.
- Track and report on benefits realization vs key objectives and forecasts
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of product
- Understand customer value to prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure we focus on the changes that will deliver maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
- Act as a ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
- Lead the consultation process with the product council stakeholders and present new ideas and share transparency of the product backlog
- Keep up to date with industry, online technologies, and online user behavior
- This role will need to abide by and adhere to LKQI organizational policies and compliance requirements.
- The work shift timing (Europe Shift) is from 12:30pm to 9:30pm IST.
Basic Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Experience in the IT industry, encompassing roles in product development, business analysis, and product ownership.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, demonstrating a deep understanding of product management principles.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework and practices, with the ability to adapt to the company's specific Agile framework and ways of working.
- Able to apply agile analysis techniques specifically for defining and creating user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience in using analysis tools and techniques including wireframes and business process modelling
- Good level of understanding of technical terminologies, experience of working in e-commerce environment, Commerce Tools and MACH architecture.
- Good level of knowledge and understanding of UX/UI in creating compelling and high usability digital products
- Good understanding of software development practices and web/mobile technologies
- Experience of using work management tools such as Jira, Trello and Confluence
- Able to produce high quality supporting artifacts to assist team in developing the feature
- Demonstrate ability to take ownership and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive in problem solving and ensuring right people are right are involved
- Able to facilitate, lead workshop to elicit requirements within business and technical teams
- Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and technical delivery teams translating concept
into the language that is easily understood by both parties
- Able to assist Head of Product Management in developing Business Case and creating Budget
- Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
- Strong team working and collaboration skills within scrum team
- A quick learner who can quickly grasp complex concepts and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Skilled in identifying and understanding business needs, translating them into actionable requirements for the development team.
- Proficient in creating compelling presentations using PowerPoint, effectively communicating project updates, proposals, and strategies to stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to achieve results and meet deadlines.
