What's the Role About?

As the City Head - Design [BU], you'll lead the design experience and delivery journey for all customers in your city. You'll manage and mentor a team of Design Manager & designers, ensuring every project reflects Livspace's quality standards, brand promise, and design excellence.

This role blends creative leadership with operational execution - owning everything from customer interactions to design sign-offs and delivery alignment. Your success will be measured by customer satisfaction, team performance, and seamless collaboration with sales, ops, and other key functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Experience & Delivery:

- Own the end-to-end design experience for customers in the city, from first interaction to final design sign-off.

- Ensure high-quality, timely design delivery with complete and accurate documentation.

- Maintain a sharp focus on customer satisfaction, NPS, and design excellence.

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (Sales, Ops, Project Teams) to ensure alignment and a seamless customer journey.

- Manage escalations related to design experience, ensuring issues are resolved with empathy and speed.

- Engage with central quality, product, and process teams to deploy best practices and tools for efficiencyLead, coach, and enable a team of Design Managers, Senior Designers, and Associates.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead, coach, and enable a team of Design Managers, Senior Designers, and Associates.

- Build a performance-driven, customer-first culture focused on quality and ownership.

- Drive goal-setting, reviews, upskilling, and regular feedback to elevate team performance.

- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, modular standards, and operational SOPs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work in strong alignment with the City Sales Head to maintain funnel hygiene and improve sales-to-design conversions.

- Collaborate with the Operations team for seamless site execution and on-ground coordination.

- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely hiring and right-fit designers.

- Engage with central quality, product, and process teams to deploy best practices and tools for efficiency.
