POSITION SUMMARY: This is a remote-only position. The Business Development Associate at Little Place Labs will be responsible for exploring new markets, identifying customer needs, and engaging with potential clients to promote our cutting-edge solutions in the space industry. The role will focus primarily on the North American and European markets and will involve working with Little Place Team members in the US. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the target market segments for the Satellite Edge Computing ecosystem. - Engage in customer discovery processes to understand their needs and challenges and align them with our solutions. - Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the target industries. - Work closely with Business Development Leads and LPL leadership to develop and implement business and sales strategies. - Report key performance indicators to senior management. - Collaborate with global team members to execute projects and reach objectives. SUCCESS METRICS: - You should be self-driven, strong team players, curious and have the desire to understand the underpinnings of complex business problems and processes. We see this position as excellent opportunity for you to experience and learn directly about the space industry and a way to be involved in the latest space technology and market development. - A technical background with a business degree preferred (Technical + MBA). - 0-2 years of experience in business development, preferably in tech. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong research and analytical skills. - Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues across different geographical locations. - Self-motivated and able to work independently (essential).
