Litigation Counsel Role

Legal Strategy & Litigation Management:

Our client is looking for a legal professional to lead and manage all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution across India.

This role involves:

- Strategic Planning: Designing and implementing effective litigation strategies that align with business goals.

a) Dispute Resolution: Managing a wide range of legal cases-civil, criminal, commercial, regulatory, arbitration, and consumer disputes.

b) Case Investigations: Leading internal investigations, conducting root cause analyses, and preparing legal documents like complaints and notices.

c) Law Firm Coordination: Working closely with external lawyers and law firms to ensure strong representation and cost-effective outcomes.

d) Internal Legal Advice: Guiding leadership and internal teams on legal risks and litigation strategies.

e) Regulatory Compliance: Handling communications and proceedings with government bodies and regulators.

f) Legal Drafting: Overseeing the preparation of pleadings, affidavits, responses, and settlement agreements.

g) Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential legal risks early and addressing them through training and process improvements.

h) Litigation Tracking: Maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor case progress and legal expenses.
