We are seeking a Salesperson to grow our ocean export freight forwarding business. The ideal candidate has a strong background in international logistics, a solid client network, and a passion for building lasting relationships in global trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for ocean export freight services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs through consistent prospecting and pipeline management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across industries in agriculture.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Stay up to date with market trends, carrier rates, and competitor offerings.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum with 6 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding or international logistics (ocean exports preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping documentation, and export procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-orientated, and comfortable working independently.
