Position Overview:


The Corporate Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping and managing the firms internal and external communications strategy. This position requires a highly skilled communicator with a deep understanding of the financial industry, media relations, and corporate branding. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to promote our firms reputation, articulate its vision, and effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, including investors, clients, employees, and the media.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Communications Planning:


- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that align with business objectives, strengthen the companys brand, and increase visibility within the global investment landscape.


- Collaborate with senior leadership to define messaging, positioning, and key narratives across various communication channels.


2. Media Relations & Public Relations:


- Serve as a primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage relationships with journalists, analysts, and influencers within the finance and investment industries.


- Proactively pitch story ideas, manage press releases, and ensure positive media coverage of the firm.


- Monitor industry news and trends to identify potential PR opportunities or risks to the firms reputation.


3. Internal Communications:


- Lead internal communications initiatives to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the firms mission and values.


- Develop and manage internal newsletters, intranet content, and other communication materials to foster a cohesive corporate culture.


- Support leadership with internal messaging, including town halls, executive speeches, and employee engagement programs.


4. Brand Management:


- Ensure consistent application of brand messaging and visual identity across all corporate communications, including digital, print, and social media.


- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, presentations, and corporate materials that reflect the firms global presence and expertise.


- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.


5. Crisis Communications:


- Support the development of crisis communication plans and manage communication during any reputation-threatening situations.


- Ensure timely, clear, and accurate messaging during periods of corporate change, economic downturns, or other high-stakes scenarios.


6. Investor and Client Communications:


- Work closely with the Investor Relations and Client Services teams to develop targeted communications for investors, clients, and stakeholders.


- Coordinate the creation of annual reports, investor letters, presentations, and other financial communications.


7. Social Media and Digital Strategy:


- Manage and grow the firms social media presence by creating engaging content that aligns with the firms strategic goals.


- Leverage digital platforms to engage with key audiences, enhance the firms thought leadership, and build its online reputation.


Qualifications:


- Education: Bachelors degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or related field. A Masters degree or professional certifications in communications is a plus.


Experience:


- At least 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role within the financial services or investment sectors.


- Proven track record of successfully managing media relations, crisis communications, and internal communications for a global organization.


- Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial markets, and global business practices.


Skills:


- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.


- Strong media relations experience, with a network of contacts in the finance, investment, and business media sectors.


- Ability to work effectively with senior executives and a global, cross-functional team.


- High attention to detail and strong project management skills.


- Proficiency with digital communication tools and social media platforms.


- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
