Job Profile:
The Investment Analyst / Associate will support the senior investment team across origination, evaluation, execution, syndication, and monitoring of private credit and growth debt investments. The selected candidate will get exposure to venture debt transactions across diverse sectors and will be actively involved in the complete investment cycle from deal origination to exit. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, robust financial analysis, and a solid understanding of due diligence for such transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Transaction Evaluation & Execution
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees.
- Conduct end-to-end due diligence covering financial analysis, business model evaluation, and regulatory assessments.
- Support credit underwriting and transaction structuring, assessing factors such as leverage, liquidity, collateral quality, and cash flow stability.
- Support end-to-end execution of private credit and growth debt transactions.
2. Origination Support
- Conduct market and sector research to identify new investment opportunities.
- Track borrower and sponsor activity to support origination pipeline development.
- Assist senior team members in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
3. Portfolio Monitoring
- Track and analyse portfolio performance through financial analysis, covenant monitoring, and management interactions.
- Maintain and update internal dashboards, periodic credit reviews, and investor reporting materials.
- Identify early warning indicators and assist in recommending mitigation measures.
4. Internal Coordination
Collaborate with legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance with internal processes.
- Support fund reporting, investor updates, and portfolio review exercises.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Graduates/PG with 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment management, credit analysis, banking, consulting, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with familiarity in financial statement analysis, accounting fundamentals and credit underwriting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic exposure to financial modelling or valuation is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in lean teams.
