Packaging Development & Innovation:
- Lead end-to-end packaging development for new products, renovations, and line extensions.
- Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions for chilled, frozen, ambient, and retort products.
- Evaluate new packaging materials, formats, and technologies to improve functionality, shelf life, consumer experience, and sustainability.
- Support packaging innovation aligned with business growth priorities.
Scale Up & Commercialization:
- Lead packaging qualification from concept through commercial launch.
- Conduct packaging validation, line trials, transport simulation, and shelf-life studies.
- Ensure packaging compatibility with manufacturing processes and distribution conditions.
- Provide technical support during plant commissioning and commercialization.
Productivity & Value Engineering:
- Build and execute the packaging productivity pipeline through material optimization, specification harmonization, and cost reduction.
- Identify opportunities for packaging simplification without compromising product performance or food safety.
- Deliver annual productivity and savings targets.
Packaging Sustainability:
- Develop sustainable packaging roadmaps aligned with ESG objectives.
- Increase recyclability, reduce material usage, and evaluate alternative packaging materials.
- Ensure compliance with EPR and environmental regulations.
Supplier & Technology Management:
- Partner with suppliers to identify new technologies and improve packaging solutions.
- Qualify new suppliers and materials through structured validation protocols.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with food contact regulations and quality standards.
- Develop packaging specifications, testing protocols, and change control processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with R&D Product, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Regulatory teams.
People Leadership:
- Lead and develop the packaging R&D team.
- Build capability in packaging science and innovation.
We hope that you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Technology, Food Technology, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 1015 years of packaging R&D experience in food, FMCG, or protein processing.
- Experience in flexible packaging, thermoforming, vacuum packaging, MAP, retort packaging, frozen food packaging, and commercialization.
