What makes the role meaty?:
- Own, drive and manage 30+cost-focused strategic initiatives across upstream supply chain
- Work on founder and leadership priority programs to improve cost, service levels, scalability, and resilience
- Act as the bridge between strategy, analytics, and on-ground supply chain execution
- Own initiatives end-to-end: cost reduction, capacity planning, network optimisation, and productivity improvement
- Translate ambiguous problems into structured workplans with clear milestones and owners
- Drive execution rigor through governance, reviews, and escalation management
- Deep-dive into unit economics, COGS, yield, wastage, productivity, and inventory health
- Build business cases for sourcing, processing, logistics, automation, and capex investments
- Work on manufacturing footprint, PC capacity, warehouse and logistics network design
- Support scale-up and expansion with data-backed capacity and capex planning
- Identify bottlenecks and design solutions for peak demand and scale scenarios
- Partner with Procurement, Production, Quality, Category, Finance, and Tech teams
- Drive process simplification, SOP standardisation, and tech-led transformations (ERP, WMS, demand planning)
- Prepare crisp dashboards and decision notes for senior leadership
- Ensure sustainability and smooth handover of initiatives to business teams
We hope that you have..
- 5-10 years of experience starting with Big 4 / Tier-1 Consulting (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) followed by hands-on supply chain / operations roles
- Proven exposure to supply chain transformation, cost take-out, or network design
- Experience in D2C, Food, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Consumer businesses preferred
- Strong structured problem-solving with ability to translate strategy into execution
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain and unit economics
- Strong stakeholder management across leadership and plant/ops teams
- High proficiency in Excel / Sheets, presentations, and data dashboards
