The Head of Social Media is responsible for overseeing the creation, management and development of the Client's Social Media Strategy. The position involves creating and delivering successful social campaigns. Responsibilities: - Understanding of bigger picture for the client's online objectives and develop holistic social media strategy for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google+ - Designing and execution of campaigns that help in generating brand awareness, affinity and transactions for the clients and meet the desired results - Actively collaborate with client to strategize and implement social media campaigns - Content Planning and Creation for brand across platforms by coordinating with creative team and writing editorial copy - Monitoring the campaign closely and taking effective actions after discussing the same with the client. - Manage and support the Social Media Team, ensuring a superior quality of communication and project delivery - Plan social media campaigns, ensuring customer acquisition and supporting monetization - Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments Requirements: - Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal skills - Strong project management or organisational skills - Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios - Experience leading projects to successful deployment - Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format to board level, and build and maintain relationships - Team leader, with experience of managing potentially volatile situations - Great technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly - Development of brand awareness and online reputation
