Role Summary:
The President will provide enterprise-level leadership for the Nigeria operations and will be accountable for overall business performance, strategic direction, profitability trajectory, and governance effectiveness. The role focuses on ensuring disciplined leadership, sustained value creation, and long-term business stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of overall business performance, profitability, and long-term value creation
- Define business direction, operating cadence, and performance expectations across the organization
- Review, evaluate, and challenge business strategy, annual budgets, capital expenditure, and growth initiatives
- Lead, assess, and mentor the senior leadership team to ensure delivery against agreed objectives
- Ensure robust governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and cost discipline
- Act as the final escalation authority for enterprise-level, strategic, and high-impact business matters
Authority & Scope:
- Holds enterprise-level accountability for business performance and senior leadership effectiveness
- Operates at a strategic and governance level, without involvement in routine operational or plant-level execution
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Polymer preferred); MBA or equivalent qualification desirable
- 22-35 years of progressive leadership experience within plastic or process manufacturing environments
- Prior experience in roles such as President, CXO level, CEO, or COO
- Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost structures, and scale-driven performance levers
- Experience working within family-owned or promoter-led organizations preferred
