
Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director - Nigeria

Role Summary:
The Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director will serve as the single-point executive authority for the Nigeria operations, with full accountability for P&L execution, manufacturing performance, organizational leadership, and external stakeholder management. The role requires a seasoned CXO with demonstrated experience in leading complex manufacturing businesses and delivering sustained results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for execution of Nigeria P&L, cash flow, and working capital management
- Provide end-to-end leadership across manufacturing operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain
- Drive productivity improvement, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and margin enhancement initiatives
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing CXO and senior leadership team
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, labor, regulatory, and safety requirements in Nigeria
- Represent the organization with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, regulators, and local authorities
Authority & Scope:
- Holds complete authority over operational, people, and execution-related decisions within Nigeria
- Accountable to the President for business outcomes and strategic alignment
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Polymer Engineering mandatory)
- Master's degree mandatory (MBA / PGDM / Master's in Operations, General Management, or equivalent)
- Minimum 18 years of total professional experience, with at least 10 years at CXO / enterprise leadership level
- Demonstrated track record of leading manufacturing businesses with full P&L accountability
- Strong shop-floor leadership background with exposure to large, diverse workforces
- Experience in plastic manufacturing, including polymer, rotomoulding, or blow moulding processes, preferred
- Proven ability to operate effectively within family-owned or promoter-led organizations
