Role Overview:

The Zonal Leader for Guwahati will serve as the primary architect of Lenskart's retail growth and operational excellence across the region. This role involves overseeing a network of stores, driving high-impact sales strategies, and ensuring that the brand's customer experience standards are consistently met. You will work closely with regional managers, store teams, and corporate stakeholders to translate high-level business objectives into localized execution. By managing the P&L for the zone, you will directly influence the company's profitability, market penetration, and long-term operational sustainability in the Northeast market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the overall P&L performance for the Guwahati zone by optimizing store-level costs and maximizing revenue growth across all retail touchpoints.

- Execute corporate strategy at the ground level to ensure that regional expansion plans align with the broader organizational roadmap.

- Lead and mentor a diverse team of store managers and retail staff to foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and superior customer service.

- Monitor and analyze key retail metrics to identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures that improve store efficiency.

- Manage inventory distribution and supply chain coordination to ensure optimal stock availability that meets local consumer demand.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new store formats and marketing initiatives that strengthen Lenskart's brand presence in the region.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale retail operations with a proven track record of driving sales growth and operational efficiency.

- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage complex P&L statements and make data-backed decisions to improve bottom-line results.

- Exceptional leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and motivate large, geographically dispersed teams toward common business goals.

- Strategic thinking skills that allow for the translation of corporate objectives into actionable, localized retail plans.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for managing stakeholder relationships and maintaining high standards of team performance.

- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in retail management, preferably within a fast-paced, omnichannel environment.

- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a premier institute is highly preferred to navigate the analytical and strategic demands of this role.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site capacity, maintaining a strong presence across stores in the Guwahati region to ensure operational excellence.
