The company:
Lenskart serves 40M+ customers across 175+ cities, with 3,000+ stores and the world's most automated eyewear manufacturing facility. We started online in 2010 and are now Asia's largest eyewear company, working toward a billion eyes served. "Good is not good enough" is something you'll hear a lot here.
The role:
Lenskart is scaling across geographies, formats, and channels simultaneously - new markets, new store formats, an expanding manufacturing footprint. That pace throws up problems nobody has solved before, with no playbook to solve them. You'll be handed questions, not tasks: why a cohort of stores is underperforming its catchment, what the operating model should look like in a market we entered six months ago, where the supply chain breaks if we grow another 40%.
You'll define the problem, get to a defensible answer from messy data, and stay on it through implementation - which usually means sitting with store teams or walking a vendor's floor, not just presenting a deck. It takes analysis, influence across teams that don't report to you, and the persistence to see the number actually move. You'll work closely with senior leadership and, on the initiatives that matter most, with the founder directly.
What you'll own:
- Own high-impact strategic initiatives from problem definition to execution.
- Partner closely with business leaders to identify growth opportunities, solve operational challenges, and improve business performance.
- Drive cross-functional projects involving Sales, Retail, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Experience teams.
- Build business cases, perform deep analytical problem-solving, and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
- Leverage AI extensively for research, analysis, reporting, automation, and decision-making. Develop AI-powered workflows that improve productivity and eliminate manual processes wherever possible.
- Build dashboards, operating mechanisms, and review frameworks to track business performance and ensure execution excellence.
What we're looking for:
- IIT/top-tier engineering undergrad and/or MBA from IIM or a leading global school
- 2 - 5 years in consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), investment banking, founder's/CEO's office, strategy, or a high-growth startup
- Strong structured problem-solving in ambiguous situations
- Proven ownership of projects with measurable outcomes
- Daily AI user who builds workflows and lightweight agents, not just prompts
- Founder or startup experience is a strong plus
Why it's worth it:
- Ownership of business-critical initiatives with visible impact on the company's growth.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to influence key strategic decisions.
- A fast-paced, founder-led environment where exceptional performance is recognized with accelerated growth and responsibility.
- A culture that values first-principles thinking, speed, ownership, and continuous learning.
