Legal Role - Land O&M

About the job:

- Manage all land-related activities for operational wind and solar power projects

- Maintain and update lease agreements, land titles, and possession documents for all project sites.

- Track lease renewals, handle negotiations with landowners, and ensure timely lease or rent payments.

- Serve as the key contact for landowners and local communities, building strong relationships and addressing grievances effectively.

- Liaise with local authorities, including revenue departments and panchayats, to manage land records, tax payments, and statutory obligations.

- Support O&M teams by resolving issues for access roads, transmission lines, and internal movement within the sites.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to land, such as encroachments, litigation, or non-compliance with local laws.

- Ensure compliance with local land regulations, zoning laws, and environmental norms affecting land use.

- Assist in audits and due diligence processes by providing updated land documentation and reports.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Legal, O&M and projects
