Head Legal - Litigation, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs- FMCG/FMCD - 18+ Years

We are looking for a seasoned Legal professional with 18+ years of experience in managing Litigation, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and Property Matters within the FMCG/FMCD industry. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in Food Laws, Factory & Labour Compliances, and Liaisoning with Government Authorities, ensuring smooth operations and risk-free governance across the organization's units and projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Driving strategic thinking on litigation and legal proceedings across business units.

2. Ensuring timely initiation, attendance, and response in all litigation cases.

3. Managing and maintaining an updated litigation database and presenting quarterly reviews to management.

4. Ensuring timely renewals and compliance with all regulatory licenses and permissions.

5. Reviewing product labels and promotional content for FSSA, IPR, and Legal Metrology compliance.

6. Conducting due diligence for new projects and obtaining all necessary statutory approvals.

7. Liaising with government agencies to secure project-related permissions and subsidies.

8. Managing property transactions including due diligence and registration.

Requirements:

1. LLB with 18+ years of experience in Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance functions.

2. Deep expertise in Litigation Management, Food Laws, Regulatory Affairs, and Property Matters.

3. Strong understanding of Factory & Labour Compliances and liaison with government departments.

4. Experience in handling civil, criminal, arbitration, and IPR-related cases. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
