Leadership role - Investor Relations

Job Location: The vacancy is based at our Mumbai & Noida offices respectively

Role Purpose:

The Head of Investor Relations will be the strategic bridge between company and the global investment community. This leader will shape market perception, build investor trust, and ensure the firm's vision, strategy, and financial performance are communicated with clarity, precision, and impact.


To build and sustain investor confidence by delivering transparent, credible, and consistent communication of the firm's strategy, financial results, and market outlook. To influence investor sentiment, strengthen brand positioning, and drive alignment between capital market expectations and corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Investor Relations Leadership:

- Design and execute a comprehensive Investor Relations (IR) strategy aligned with company's corporate and capital markets objectives.

- Serve as the principal spokesperson to institutional investors, analysts, and rating agencies.

- Build and sustain long-term strategic relationships with investors globally.

- Ensure consistent, transparent, and value-driven communication of the firm's strategy and financial results.

Key KPIs:

- Annual growth in active institutional coverage

- Positive investor sentiment scores / perception audits

- Alignment of investor messaging with corporate milestones

2. Executive Advisory & Capital Markets Strategy:

- Advise the CEO, Partners, and Board on investor sentiment, shareholder expectations, and capital markets trends.

- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Strategy teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and consistent
disclosures.

- Develop and manage earnings communication, investor decks, Q&A briefs, and strategic narratives.

Key KPIs:

- Timeliness and quality of all investor-facing materials

- Measurable improvement in market understanding of firm strategy

- Enhanced visibility among global investor networks

3. Institutional & Analyst Relationship Management:

- Act as primary point of contact for buy-side and sell-side analysts, proxy advisors, and institutional investors.

- Organize roadshows, conferences, and investor meetings across key geographies.

- Create and maintain a relationship management dashboard (CRM) for tracking investor interactions and insights.

Key KPIs:

- Number and quality of investor interactions

- Depth of investor engagement and retention

- Expansion of geographic and sectoral investor coverage

4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Insight:

- Continuously monitor market conditions, peer performance, and macroeconomic indicators affecting valuation and positioning.

- Conduct peer benchmarking, valuation analysis, and investor perception studies.

- Provide quarterly market and competitive intelligence briefs to the CEO and Board.

Key KPIs:

- Accuracy and relevance of insight reports

- Integration of market data into strategic planning

- Early identification of emerging risks and opportunities

5. Financial Reporting & Capital Markets Support:

- Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to interpret and communicate financial results, forecasts, and corporate actions effectively to investors.

- Support capital-raising initiatives-including equity, debt, and structured instruments-by preparing investor decks, Q&A scripts, and valuation summaries.

- Prepare Board-level investor reports summarizing trends, ownership data, and engagement
outcomes.

Key KPIs:

- Quality and clarity of financial disclosures

- Investor understanding of business performance (survey-based)

- Contribution to success of capital-raising or transaction initiatives

6. Event Leadership & Brand Building:

- Lead the planning and execution of Investor Days, Earnings Calls, Capital Markets Briefings, and other investor events.

- Enhance company's brand through thought leadership, media engagements, and industry visibility.

- Foster a strong culture of transparency and engagement across all investor interactions.

Key KPIs:

- Attendance and feedback from investor events

- Media coverage and share of voice improvement

- Growth in brand trust and recognition among investors

Qualifications & Experience:

- 15+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Equity Research, ideally within financial services or capital markets.

- Advanced qualification in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA and/or CFA
preferred.

- Proven track record of engaging institutional investors and capital market participants at a senior level.

- Strong understanding of valuation, financial analysis, and capital structure management.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial narratives with precision and clarity.

Performance Metrics & Success Indicators:

- Strength of investor and analyst relationships

- Market and media perception of the firm's credibility and transparency

- Quality and consistency of investor communications

- Growth in institutional coverage and investor engagement

- Effectiveness in supporting capital-raising and valuation objectives

- Leadership feedback on strategic advisory effectiveness
