Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned HR & IR leader to spearhead the human capital strategy for our large-scale manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle while maintaining a harmonious industrial relations environment. You will be responsible for balancing complex labor dynamics with modern organizational development initiatives, ensuring that our workforce remains agile, compliant, and highly productive. By bridging the gap between shop-floor operations and corporate strategy, you will directly influence our manufacturing excellence, safety culture, and long-term business sustainability in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the comprehensive Industrial Relations strategy, including union negotiations, long-term settlements, and grievance handling to ensure seamless, uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

- Design and implement robust Talent Management frameworks that identify and nurture high-potential leaders to build a sustainable internal talent pipeline.

- Oversee end-to-end HR Operations and Compliance, ensuring that all site activities adhere to stringent statutory regulations and internal safety standards.

- Drive Performance Management initiatives by aligning individual KPIs with organizational growth targets to foster a high-performance culture across all plant levels.

- Spearhead Leadership Development programs to upskill management teams, enabling them to navigate the complexities of a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

- Act as the primary advisor to the board on HR policy, organizational restructuring, and change management initiatives to support business expansion and operational efficiency.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Industrial Relations and labor laws within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of maintaining positive union-management relations.

- Exceptional ability to lead large, diverse teams and influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and transparent communication.

- Strong strategic acumen in aligning HR operations with business objectives, ensuring that talent strategies directly contribute to the bottom line.

- Proven capability in navigating high-pressure environments, with a focus on conflict resolution and maintaining organizational stability during periods of change.

- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Personnel Management from a premier institute is highly preferred.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site capacity, maintaining a visible presence on the shop floor to build trust and ensure operational alignment.

- Candidates must possess 20 - 26 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, specifically within multi location manufacturing industry.
