Role Summary
A fast-growing, premium QSR-inspired food brand is seeking a senior Integrated Planning Leader to own and drive the end-to-end integrated planning processes including S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and network optimization. The role will lead the transformation from fragmented Excel-based planning to a unified, data-driven, predictive planning model focused on perishable product supply chains across stores, bakeries, and distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the integrated planning team responsible for S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and network optimization to maximize efficiency and service levels.
- Manage and continuously improve monthly integrated planning cycles (S&OP) ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and supply chain functions.
- Transition legacy planning processes from Excel-based store level forecasts to advanced, digitally enabled forecasting and integrated supply network models.
- Optimize inventory across multiple locations using network planning techniques to balance freshness, availability, and waste reduction for perishable goods.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, sales, marketing, operations, and logistics teams to align integrated plans with business initiatives such as promotions and new product launches.
- Leverage advanced planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, IBP, Anaplan, o9, etc.) and analytics tools for forecasting, scenario planning, and reporting.
- Deliver actionable insights through integrated planning dashboards and communicate business impacts to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the planning and supply network.
Candidate Profile
- 8-12 years of experience leading integrated planning functions-encompassing S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and network optimization-in QSR, bakery, or perishable goods environments.
- Proven track record of managing the transition from manual/Excel based planning to integrated digital planning platforms that improve forecasting accuracy and supply chain responsiveness.
- Expertise in network optimization including inventory allocation, capacity planning, and distribution strategy for multi-location perishable product supply chains.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive change and collaboration across diverse teams.
- Advanced skills in digital supply chain and planning tools plus high proficiency in data analytics.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Analytics, or related discipline
