Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Fund Operations division in Mumbai or Bangalore. In this high-impact role, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of complex investment vehicles, ensuring seamless execution of fund administration, capital calls, and distributions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end fund accounting and operations lifecycle for Private Equity and alternative investment structures to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

- Lead complex client onboarding initiatives by streamlining KYC and legal documentation processes to reduce time-to-market for new fund launches.

- Manage high-stakes relationships with external auditors, custodians, and tax advisors to resolve operational bottlenecks and maintain institutional-grade service levels.

- Oversee capital activity workflows, including capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations, to ensure precision and transparency for all limited partners.

- Drive digital transformation and process automation projects to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks across the investment banking operations ecosystem.

Required Skill set:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in managing complex fund structures and investment banking operations, with a proven track record of navigating the intricacies of Private Equity fund lifecycles.

- Exhibit exceptional leadership capabilities, with the ability to mentor diverse teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in a hybrid work environment.

- Communicate complex financial and operational data effectively to C-suite stakeholders and institutional clients, ensuring clarity and alignment on strategic objectives.

- Possess a strong analytical mindset to identify systemic risks and implement robust internal controls that safeguard firm assets and reputation.

- Hold a professional degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management, complemented by a deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks governing alternative investments.

- Adapt seamlessly to the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of a global financial institution, maintaining composure and strategic focus while managing multiple high-priority workstreams.
