We are looking for a leader who can help build the next generation of decision-making - where data, technology and business expertise come together to make planning faster, smarter and increasingly self-driven.

- This is a transformation mandate for someone who has spent enough time close to business operations to understand why plans fail, where manual effort gets created and how better systems can change the way decisions are made.

- The person will work across business, technology, analytics and operations to take existing processes to the next level - from periodic planning and human intervention towards continuous insights, intelligent recommendations and exception-led execution.

What You Will Be Driving:

- Reimagine how the organisation looks ahead, responds to changes and balances competing business priorities.

- Identify where technology and data can remove repetitive work and allow teams to focus on the decisions that genuinely require human judgement.

- Help move the organisation from spreadsheet-heavy and sequential ways of working towards connected, automated and responsive processes.

- Bring together business knowledge, analytics and technology to create better forecasts, scenarios and recommendations.

- Explore how machine learning, predictive models, optimisation and emerging AI capabilities can improve the quality and speed of business decisions.

- Work with technology and analytics teams to turn business challenges into solutions that can be adopted across multiple businesses, locations and teams.

- Establish the right measures to demonstrate improvement in accuracy, responsiveness, productivity, working capital and customer outcomes.

- Build new ways of working and help teams adopt them - not simply implement a technology platform.

- Lead conversations with senior stakeholders, challenge existing thinking and create a clear path from current-state processes to a more intelligent operating model.

Who Could Be a Great Fit?:

- You may currently be leading planning transformation, IBP/S&OP, forecasting excellence, digital operations, advanced analytics, business transformation or intelligent automation in a large organisation.

- You would probably have worked with one or more modern planning / decision platforms such as Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP/APO or OMP - but we are more interested in what you have changed using these technologies than the technology name itself.

- You should be comfortable moving between business conversations and technology discussions and have experience taking an idea from business problem - solution - adoption - measurable outcome.

- Experience with AI/ML-led forecasting, demand sensing, optimisation, exception-based decision making, autonomous or touchless processes will be particularly relevant.

- An MBA/PGDM or strong academic background in Engineering, Operations, Analytics or related disciplines would be preferred.
