Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic transformation leader to drive process re-engineering initiatives across Accounts Payable (AP), Vendor Onboarding, and Inventory Operations for a high-growth Quick Commerce organization operating through warehouses and dark stores.

The role will focus on redesigning finance and operational workflows to build stronger controls, improve system integration, eliminate process gaps, and create scalable operating models capable of handling very large transaction volumes.

This position requires close collaboration with business, finance, procurement, supply chain, technology, and operations teams to ensure that growth and speed are supported by robust governance and scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Re-Engineering & Transformation:

- Lead end-to-end redesign of AP, vendor onboarding, and inventory-related operational processes.

- Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, manual dependencies, and process leakages across current workflows.

- Build scalable and standardized processes capable of handling high transaction volumes across brands, warehouses, and dark stores.

- Establish governance frameworks, SOPs, approval matrices, and control mechanisms across the operational lifecycle.

Vendor Onboarding & Finance Controls:

- Evaluate and strengthen finance controls within the existing business-led brand onboarding process.

- Work closely with category and business teams to integrate finance, compliance, and operational checks into vendor onboarding workflows.

- Design maker-checker controls, approval hierarchies, and validation mechanisms for vendor creation and onboarding.

- Ensure onboarding processes are scalable, auditable, and integrated across systems.

AP & Reconciliation Process Optimization:

- Re-engineer invoice processing, PO-GRN matching, reconciliation, and exception management workflows.

- Improve visibility and control over vendor transactions, claims, deductions, and payable accuracy.

- Reduce manual intervention and improve reconciliation turnaround times and operational efficiency.

Systems Integration & Automation:

- Drive integration of systems involved in vendor creation, onboarding, procurement, inventory, and finance operations.

- Partner with technology and product teams to streamline ERP, WMS, procurement, and finance system connectivity.

- Improve data integrity, workflow automation, and system-based controls across operational processes.

- Lead automation initiatives to reduce operational risk and improve scalability.

Inventory Process & Operational Controls:

- Strengthen controls around inventory movements across warehouses and dark stores.

- Improve visibility and reconciliation processes for inter-warehouse transfers, stock adjustments, returns, and shrinkage.

- Build operational dashboards and exception monitoring frameworks for inventory governance.

Cross Functional Leadership:

- Act as a strategic partner to business, category, supply chain, finance, and technology leadership teams.

- Influence stakeholders to adopt stronger process controls while balancing operational agility.

- Drive organization-wide process improvement and change management initiatives.

Governance & Continuous Improvement:

- Establish KPIs, MIS, dashboards, and review mechanisms for process performance and control effectiveness.

- Support audit readiness and strengthen compliance across finance and operational workflows.

- Build a culture of operational discipline, governance, and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- CA from a reputed institution preferred.

- 12 - 18 years of experience in process transformation, operational excellence, controllership, supply chain finance, or consulting.

- Strong experience in Quick Commerce, Ecommerce, Retail, FMCG, Logistics, or Supply Chain-intensive businesses.

- Proven experience in designing scalable operational and finance processes in high-growth environments.

- Deep understanding of AP workflows, vendor onboarding, inventory operations, and system-driven controls.

- Experience working on ERP/WMS/process integration projects and automation initiatives.

- Strong stakeholder management and change management capabilities.
