Role Summary:
- The Lead Visual Communication Designer is a high-level creative visionary responsible for the conceptualization and execution of world-class design systems for market-leading B2C brands.
- This role demands a master of visual storytelling who can bridge the gap between abstract strategy and tangible, high-impact design across branding, packaging, and digital marketing.
- You will act as the design authority, setting the tone and aesthetic guidelines for complex projects while working in lockstep with Creative Directors and Strategy counterparts.
- As a lead, you will not only produce masterful illustrations and elegant designs but also mentor a team of designers, driving a culture of innovation and best-in-class execution that exceeds client expectations and fulfills critical business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle, from high-level ideation through to final delivery, ensuring all visual work aligns with client strategy and exceeds project goals.
- Architect and define comprehensive Brand Identity systems, including logo design, bespoke typography, and rigorous brand guidelines that set the visual tone for the marketplace.
- Spearhead complex Packaging Design projects, focusing on structural integrity, shelf impact, and consumer psychology within the B2C sector.
- Create "masterful" and "elegant" illustrations that serve as the cornerstone for unique brand stories and marketing narratives.
- Synthesize topic themes, market research, and client insights into compelling visual narratives that allow stakeholders to make informed business decisions.
- Champion design excellence by providing technical guidance and "best-in-class" recommendations to junior designers and content contributors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative Directors and Strategy teams to ensure the design path forward is both innovative and functionally sound.
- Oversee the production of high-impact Marketing Collateral, including print materials, digital assets, and large-scale campaign visuals.
- Masterfully apply color schemes and symbols to evoke specific brand emotions and ensure consistent visual language across all touchpoints.
- Manage the design team's implementation process, identifying what works best for specific workflows and continuously optimizing the creative output.
- Maintain a "pathfinder" mindset, staying ahead of global design trends to ensure the agency's work remains innovative and competitive.
Technical Requirements:
- 8-10 years of professional experience within a design or creative agency environment, specifically focused on B2C brands.
- Branding & Packaging Mastery: Deep expertise in creating full-scale brand identities and complex retail packaging solutions.
- Graphic Design Proficiency: Advanced skills in Typography, Illustration, and the technical application of color theory.
- Print & Production Knowledge: Strong understanding of print processes, materials, and prepress requirements for high-end packaging and collaterals.
- Software Expertise: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with prototyping tools.
- Strategic Visuals: Proven ability to create logos and symbols that encapsulate complex brand values into simple, memorable icons
