Lead - Telematics

Responsibilities :

- Telematics System Development: Lead the design and development of telematics solutions tailored specifically for commercial vehicles, focusing on enabling real-time vehicle tracking, remote diagnostics, and fleet management capabilities.

- Integration: Oversee the integration of telematics devices and systems with commercial vehicle architecture, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

- Fleet Management Solutions: Develop telematics features that enhance fleet management operations, such as vehicle utilization tracking, fuel consumption monitoring, and driver behavior analysis.

- Data Exchange: Facilitate seamless communication between vehicles and external systems for real-time data sharing, route optimization, and operational efficiency.

- Scalability: Ensure telematics solutions are scalable to meet the varying needs of commercial vehicle operators, from small fleets to large-scale operations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the System Development and Connected Cockpit teams to ensure telematics systems are integrated effectively with other cockpit functionalities like navigation and infotainment.

- Compliance: Ensure telematics solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to commercial vehicles.

- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and technology providers to source and customize telematics hardware and software solutions.

- Customer Focus: Understand the unique requirements of commercial vehicle operators and adapt telematics solutions to address their specific needs, including uptime maximization and operational cost reduction.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish processes to monitor the performance of telematics systems in real-world applications and implement improvements based on feedback.
