Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to head hiring for a large EPC Transmission Line business. The role will own end-to-end talent acquisition for corporate and project requirements across India, with a sharp focus on engineering, project execution, site leadership, and support functions. This is a strategic yet hands-on role, working closely with business heads to enable rapid and high-quality manpower scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for EPC transmission line projects including roles such as Project Managers, Site Engineers, Construction Managers, QA/QC, Planning, SCM, Safety, and Finance.
- Partner closely with business heads, project directors, and site leadership to understand manpower planning and workforce forecasts.
-Manage bulk and lateral hiring for project sites across multiple geographies.
- Drive time-critical hiring aligned to project mobilization timelines.
- Build strong pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, consultants, and campus hiring.
- Manage and optimize external recruitment partners and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to hiring budgets, compliance, and governance standards.
- Lead employer branding initiatives relevant to the infrastructure/EPC talent market.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics (TAT, cost per hire, source effectiveness).
- Mentor and lead a small TA team, ensuring execution excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10-15 years of core Talent Acquisition experience, with significant exposure to EPC / Power Transmission / Infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience hiring for transmission lines, substations, power projects, or large linear infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of site-based hiring challenges and project timelines.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure EPC environment.
- Hands-on sourcing capability along with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience working with engineering-heavy organizations is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and execution skills.
