Role Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Lead - Retail will be responsible for leading and executing the end-to-end recruitment strategy for retail positions across the organization. This role involves partnering closely with hiring managers, HR business partners, and senior leadership to understand talent needs and develop effective sourcing and selection strategies. The Talent Acquisition Lead will play a critical role in building a high-performing retail workforce that drives business growth and enhances the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for retail roles, aligning with business objectives and workforce planning forecasts.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific talent needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Lead campus hiring initiatives, building relationships with universities and colleges to attract top talent for entry-level retail positions.
- Utilize various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media, and employee referrals, to identify and engage with potential candidates.
- Conduct behavioral-based interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality recruitment services.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Mentor and develop a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven experience in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Strong understanding of retail industry trends and talent market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners, and candidates.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
- Experience in leading and developing a team of recruiters.
