Lead - Talent Acquisition - Manufacturing/Consumer Durables - North/West/East/South Region

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location : Kochi

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end hiring for assigned business units, excluding leadership and campus roles. The focus is on hiring the right talent quickly while maintaining quality and hiring standards. The role works closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure hiring plans align with workforce needs and business goals.

Reporting to: Head TA

Hiring Delivery and Execution:

- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for all approved non-leadership, non-campus positions across assigned business functions

- Work with HRBPs to understand role expectations and skills required, team needs and workforce plans

- Lead sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback closure, offer discussions, and final hiring coordination

- Ensure compensation offers are within approved ranges and validated by HRSS before offers are released

- Monitor hiring turnaround time, quality of hire, and candidate conversion ratios for all open roles

- Partner with HRSS to ensure offer rollout, documentation, onboarding, and joining preparedness

Stakeholder Management:

- Update business leaders and HRBPs on hiring status, challenges, risks, and market realities

- Balance business hiring demand with TA team capacity and external vendor support

- Work with Employer Branding and Sourcing teams to activate suitable sourcing channels and targeted campaigns

- Build relationships with hiring managers by delivering quality candidates on time, supported by data

- Act as escalation point for delays, feedback gaps, or vendor delivery concerns

Vendor and Channel Management:

- Manage relationships with approved recruitment vendors to ensure timely and quality candidate submissions

- Review vendor performance against agreed SLAs covering quality, cost, and turnaround time, and escalate concerns when required

- Promote direct sourcing through job portals, social media, referrals, and networks to reduce vendor reliance

- Control recruitment costs within approved budgets and continuously improve channel effectiveness

Process Compliance and Governance:

- Follow defined TA processes, approval flows, and documentation requirements across all hiring activity

- Coordinate with HRSS to maintain candidate records, offer documents, and audit compliance

- Ensure hiring decisions align with compensation guidelines, internal equity, and diversity objectives

- Maintain accurate trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports with high data integrity

- Support standardization and improvement of recruitment processes across businesses

TA Analytics and Continuous Improvement:

- Use TA dashboards, along with the TA Analytics Lead, to track key metrics such as turnaround time, offer acceptance, and source productivity

- Review hiring patterns, replacement needs, and sourcing outcomes to generate insights and improvements

- Share regular hiring updates and reports with HRBPs and business stakeholders

- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and introduce automation in recruitment operations

- Support the Head TA in enterprise hiring reviews and improvement initiatives

- Graduate or Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related discipline

- At least five years of experience managing end-to-end recruitment within manufacturing, consumer, or engineering-driven environments

- Demonstrated experience hiring across multiple functions, roles, or locations

- Working knowledge of vendor management, recruitment metrics, and hiring governance practices

- Hands-on experience with HRMS or ATS platforms, with Darwinbox exposure preferred

- Strong commercial understanding, negotiation capability, and stakeholder management skills
