The Lead Specialist - SCM will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability, efficient procurement execution, strong EMS coordination, and smooth end-to-end supply chain operations at the Mysore facility. The role requires hands-on execution, strong ownership, and the ability to build a reliable, cost-efficient supply ecosystem that supports production continuity and organizational growth.

Skills Required:

Procurement & Vendor Coordination:

- Ability to manage PO cycles, supplier follow-ups, delivery commitments, and vendor communication.

Team Management & Leadership:

- Experience supervising teams, delegating tasks, driving accountability, and enhancing performance.

Inventory & Kitting Control:

- Skilled in warehouse operations, cycle counting, staging, reconciliation, and JIT processes.

EMS & Job-Work Management:

- Hands-on experience managing outsourced manufacturing partners with structured tracking and delivery follow-through.

Planning & Forecasting Alignment:

- Ability to translate production plans into procurement priorities with disciplined follow-ups.

Supplier Performance Management (QCDS):

- Ability to monitor delivery, quality, service levels, rejection handling, and drive escalations where needed.

Working Capital Optimization:

- Knowledge of avoiding overstocking, minimizing dead stock, and balancing availability with cash efficiency.

Logistics & Dispatch:

- Understanding of domestic logistics, transport planning, shipment tracking, and documentation.

ERP Proficiency:

- Strong command of ERP workflows, inventory tracking, PO dashboards, and data accuracy.

Problem-Solving & Escalation Management:

- Ability to identify risks early, escalate proactively, and prevent production disruptions.

Supply Chain Operations Exposure:

- Experience working with EMS partners, job-work vendors, and multi-stage assembly processes.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the SCM and Stores team with structured task delegation, performance monitoring, and capability development.

- Ensure continuous material availability through disciplined planning, tracking, and coordination.

- Manage EMS and job-work partners to ensure timely manufacturing, dispatch, and delivery of assemblies and sub-assemblies per production schedules.

- Maintain accurate inventory governance-including kitting, staging, GRN, stock movement, and ERP traceability.

- Implement supplier performance governance using QCDS metrics, and drive CAPA where needed.

- Align procurement activities with rolling forecasts and production plans to avoid shortages and overstocking.

- Optimize working capital by maintaining efficient inventory levels and cost-aware procurement practices.

- Oversee logistics, dispatch, inbound/outbound movements, and freight planning to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

- Maintain accurate ERP data, dashboards, and procurement reports for strong supply visibility and decision-making.

- Identify supply bottlenecks early and drive solutions to ensure stable, predictable material flow.

- Collaborate with Production, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure supply chain readiness meets operational targets.
