Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Lead to spearhead operational excellence across the organizations supply chain processes. The role involves end-to-end ownership of supply chain planning, digital transformation, and strategic initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
This position requires a visionary leader capable of bridging business, operations, and technology to deliver a future-ready supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
- Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for short-term tactical and long-term strategic horizons across regions.
- Develop and optimize demand forecasting, replenishment, and inventory management strategies to balance cost, service, and working capital.
- Drive data-based decision-making to enhance inventory turns and minimize obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization & Consulting:
- Design and optimize global supply chain networks using advanced modeling and analytics tools.
- Oversee operations from raw material planning to last-mile delivery, ensuring operational excellence and risk mitigation.
- Consult with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and implement process improvements.
Technology Integration & Automation:
- Lead digital transformation initiatives by integrating automation in drop shipments, 3PL operations, courier management, and transport logistics.
- Leverage AI-driven analytics and planning systems to increase visibility, reduce manual effort, and optimize costs.
Inventory & Cost Optimization:
- Implement initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and non-moving inventory.
- Optimize inventory cost and working capital through systematic controls aligned with OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Deploy continuous improvement frameworks to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with IT, finance, procurement, and operations teams to build seamless supply chain processes.
- Lead change management efforts during process transitions, ensuring alignment, communication, and smooth execution.
Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Define and monitor KPIs for supply chain efficiency including dispatch rate, service level, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
- Present periodic dashboards and improvement reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and savings achieved.
Vendor & Partner Management:
- Manage strategic relationships with 3PL and logistics partners to ensure high service standards and cost efficiency.
- Drive vendor negotiations, contract compliance, and performance evaluation based on defined SLAs.
Sustainability & Waste Management:
- Integrate sustainability principles into logistics and supply chain operations.
- Optimize transport networks and packaging processes to reduce carbon footprint and material waste.
