Description:
Job Purpose:
- Taking charge of planning and overseeing projects, from ideation through to completion
- Serving as liaison officer between senior management, regional project team and (local) project executers
- Ensuring mitigation of potential risks that could endanger a projects successful completion
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a project management platform/methodology champion and first point of contact for (local) project teams
- Facilitates and drives project management processes (e.g. risks and escalated issues calls, change requests, etc.)
- Continuously reports project status and actively adds/updates issues, risks and tasks based on project progress/status
- Contributes to development of project business case, charters and milestone plan incl. appropriate sign-offs
- Supports in preparation for decision (body) meetings (e.g. steering committee)
- Performs project health assessments and raises concerns to project manager and/or escalates to sponsor as required
- Improves delivery by sharing lessons learned from similar projects within the project ecosystem
- Facilitates end-of-project reviews
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of business decision support experience
- Strong communication skills in English
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and project management tools (MS Project) preferable
- Ability to lead wokrstreams and roll-out initiatives independently
- Energetic, passionate and results oriented
- Strong team player with positive working attitude
