About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and resourceful professional to join a strategic research and intelligence team supporting senior stakeholders in making informed business and investment decisions.

The role involves translating complex business questions into structured research agendas, gathering insights from relevant industry sources, evaluating information, and synthesizing findings into concise, actionable intelligence. The successful candidate will work on multiple research-led projects, engage with senior stakeholders and industry professionals, and contribute to improving research processes, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Research & Intelligence:

- Understand business questions, identify knowledge gaps, and develop structured research approaches to address complex and ambiguous problems.

Insight Generation:

- Gather, assess, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear, concise, decision-ready insights.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand objectives, refine requirements, align expectations, and communicate findings effectively.

Industry Research & Networking:

- Identify and engage relevant industry professionals and subject-matter specialists to develop a deeper understanding of companies, industries, business models, and emerging trends.

Research Assessment:

- Evaluate the relevance, credibility, and suitability of information sources and industry perspectives, presenting concise profiles and findings to support informed decision-making.

Project Ownership:

- Manage multiple concurrent research assignments from initial scoping through execution and delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely turnaround.

Risk & Compliance:

- Follow applicable compliance requirements and maintain high standards of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion while handling sensitive information.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to improve research workflows, knowledge management, and operational efficiency through technology and automation.

Team Development:

- Mentor junior colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to strengthening the team's research capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, Law, Research, or a related discipline.

- 4 - 10 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, research and insights, market intelligence, corporate strategy, knowledge management, investment research, or similar analytical roles.

- Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions and develop practical research approaches.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into crisp, well-structured, actionable insights.

- Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with senior professionals and industry leaders.

- Demonstrated ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects, exercise sound judgment, and deliver under tight timelines.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and compliance awareness.

- Experience mentoring colleagues or contributing to process improvement, knowledge management, or automation initiatives will be an advantage.

- Preferred Backgrounds: Strategy consulting, consulting research and knowledge teams, corporate strategy and CEO's office, market intelligence, investment research, and research-led business advisory functions.
