A leading research-focused organization working at the intersection of energy, environment, and public policy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join as Lead, Strategic Execution. This position will be responsible for key programmatic functions, including monitoring program financials of ongoing research projects, reviewing research budgets, identifying strategic programmatic funding opportunities, and assisting with program planning. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the organization's long-term goals. Roles and Responsibilities: - Work closely with program teams to ensure research aligns with donor expectations and programmatic goals. - Establish systems to track and document programmatic outcomes, demonstrating tangible impact to donors and stakeholders. - Ensure smooth execution of program activities, including resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, and impact assessment. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies, maintaining alignment with ethical and professional standards. - Develop financial planning strategies to support project implementation in alignment with strategic objectives. - Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and compliance with donor and institutional guidelines. - Review program financials to ensure timely and transparent reporting to donors and stakeholders. - Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with research and policy impact goals. - Identify opportunities for programmatic growth, partnerships, funding avenues, and research collaborations. - Evaluate program frameworks to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, academic institutions, non-profits, and private sector partners. - Advance thought leadership by presenting research insights and program impact at key events, conferences, and meetings to expand visibility. - Lead proposal development and donor engagement efforts to secure funding for ongoing and new initiatives. - Perform other related tasks as assigned.
