The consulting services arm provides niche services around data management encompassing modernizing data platform using cloud, data strategy & governance, data transformation, data quality, master data management, data migration and insight analytics. Summary: This role will be the Lead Solution/Technical Architect in areas of Data Migration, Data Warehousing or Data Analytics Platform. Responsible for gathering customer requirements, converting customer requirements into solution design, hands-on complex logic development, solution delivery and quality review. Ultimately be responsible for delivering high quality scalable solution to customer. Responsibilities : - Gather customer requirements - Developing high level solution design, data models, frameworks for ETL and Data Quality - Developing scalable solution for future scalability - Keeping thought process of automation as much as possible - Develop low level solution design (i.e., converting Data Migration mappings into specifications) - Communicate design to developers for development and execution - Review developed solution to ensure quality of deliverables - Analyzing issues identified during testing for root-cause analysis and drive resolution for any issues - Understand functional requirements and write functional design document. - Primary functional contact to Customer and third-party vendors on projects - For complex requirements, responsible to roll-up sleeves and write ETL pipelines or PLSQL procedures - Participate in Sprint planning and review meetings - Develop Proof of Concept or author whitepaper on data management topics when required Qualifications : Open to work in a Startup culture Open to work Middle East workdays (Sunday Thursday) - Minimum qualification Bachelor of Engineering or MCA degree from Tier 1 institution - Industry experience of 15+ years with at least 5 years direct experience as an Architect - Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills - Demonstrable proficiency in SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Databases - Multiple project experience as Solution Architect in Data Migration, Data Warehousing or Master Data Management projects - Demonstrable proficiency in Data Modeling, ETL, Data Warehousing - Problem solver, analytical mind-set - Experience in mentoring junior team members - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and JIRA - Knowledge of Data domain products in either Retail, Consumer Goods or Manufacturing - Dynamic, confident personality, quick learner, with the ability to successfully execute based on guidance and multiple priorities - Preferred: Experience working on Oracle Retail Merchandising implementation projects - Knowledge of any one of the cloud environments
