
About the Role
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role overseeing HR across both corporate and field teams. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and operational rigor capable of leading HR transformation while managing end-to-end execution across recruitment, engagement, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Lead the HR function PAN India, managing a small team and multiple on-ground operations.
- Partner with business heads and founders to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Build and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment across corporate and operational roles, ensuring speed and quality of hiring.
- Build and manage pipelines for frontline talent and mid-senior leadership positions.
- Strengthen employer branding and talent attraction strategies.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage payroll, HRMS, attendance, and compliance across multiple locations.
- Standardize policies and ensure adherence to all statutory norms.
4. Employee Engagement & Development
- Design and drive engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
- Implement structured learning, development, and feedback mechanisms.
- Foster open communication and conflict resolution frameworks.
5. Performance & Rewards
- Lead performance management, appraisal cycles, and goal alignment.
- Develop compensation structures and rewards programs aligned to business needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Business Administration.
- 4-8 years of experience in HR, preferably from Retail, QSR, Hospitality, Consumer Services, or Startup ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience managing both corporate and distributed (frontline) teams.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
