Job Title: Lead - Business Development
Reporting: C&I Business Development Head
Location: New Delhi
Experience: The ideal candidate should hold an Engineering degree (MBA would be an advantage though not mandatory) from a reputed institute and bring 10-15 years of relevant experience in business development and customer acquisition in Open Access for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid).
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the business development plan for targeting C&I customers for their green energy needs
- Build customer pipeline in targeted states through direct lead generation and channel partnerships
- Build techno-commercial proposal for customers based on customer requirements
- Negotiate and close PPA and SHA contracts with customers and manage the end to end sales lifecycle
- Work with internal teams and legal advisors to close PPA and SHA contracts
- Understand the key regulatory policies related to Open Access in target states
- Build the company brand among the C&I consumers in target states through industry events
Required Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in a B2B environment in energy
- Prior experience of working with customers in large states like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat
- Hands-on experience on building proposals based on technical and commercial knowledge
- Good understanding of key contract terms and industry standards for PPA and SHA.
- Very good written and spoken communication and ability to negotiate complex contracts
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings as needed
