Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead and own the AWS practice end-to-end, serving as the primary technical leader for customer engagements, solution delivery, and AWS partnership initiatives.

- Engage with enterprise customers to understand business requirements, define cloud strategies, and recommend scalable AWS solutions.

- Lead pre-sales activities, including discovery workshops, solution architecture, effort estimation, Statements of Work (SOW), proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.

- Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.

- Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), migration strategies, and implementation roadmaps for cloud transformation projects.

- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives using AWS-native services and migration tools while ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Build and implement AWS environments covering networking, compute, storage, databases, security, identity management, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

- Drive delivery excellence by managing project timelines, technical risks, quality standards, production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.

- Define monitoring, security, governance, cost optimization, and operational best practices across managed AWS environments.

- Own the organization's AWS Partner relationship, including certifications, competencies, partner programs, funding initiatives, and co-sell opportunities.

- Mentor, lead, and grow the AWS engineering team by establishing technical standards, delivery processes, resource planning, and hiring best practices.

- Stay current with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry best practices to continuously strengthen the AWS practice.

Ideal Candidate:

- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Cloud, including at least 8 years as an AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Practice Lead.

- Proven experience managing the complete customer lifecycle from pre-sales and solution design through implementation, migration, managed services, and post-production support.

- Strong hands-on expertise across AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, S3, EBS, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and AWS Config.

- Hands-on experience with AWS migration services including AWS MGN, AWS DMS, and Migration Hub.

- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK, along with modern CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Experience preparing customer-facing proposals, solution estimates, AWS Pricing Calculator assessments, and Statements of Work (SOW).

- Experience working within an AWS Partner, Managed Services Provider (MSP), or consulting organization is highly preferred.

- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and managing delivery across multiple customer engagements.

- Strong understanding of AWS Partner Programs, competencies, partner funding initiatives, and co-sell motions.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and business leadership.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification is mandatory. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional and additional AWS Specialty certifications are highly preferred.

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or multi-cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP will be an added advantage.
