Key responsibilities: - Lead the SEO strategy and execution to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings. - Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content creation and optimization efforts. - Optimize website content and structure for maximum visibility and relevance. - Develop and implement link building strategies to enhance off-page SEO. - Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms. - Stay updated on the latest industry trends and algorithm updates to adjust SEO strategies accordingly. - Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented. - Create and present regular SEO performance reports to stakeholders. - Identify and resolve technical SEO issues to improve site indexing and crawling. - Manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists to achieve departmental goals. - Conduct competitive analysis to identify SEO opportunities and threats. - Implement local and mobile SEO strategies to capture targeted audiences. - Define and track key SEO performance metrics and KPIs. - Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to integrate SEO best practices into overall marketing strategies. Required Qualifications: - Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. - Proven experience in SEO and digital marketing with a focus on organic search. - Demonstrated success in leading and implementing SEO strategies that drove significant traffic and revenue growth. - Expertise in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc. - Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and website backend technologies for SEO implementation. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. - Experience in managing and leading a team of SEO specialists. - Certifications in Google Analytics or other relevant industry certifications are a plus. - Understanding of local and mobile SEO best practices and strategies. - Knowledge of content marketing and its relationship to SEO. - Ability to adapt to new SEO trends and updates in search engine algorithms. - Excellent understanding of link building strategies and best practices.
