Role Summary:
The supply chain function is evolving significantly to enhance its processes and infrastructure, with the goal of delivering superior service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role involves managing multiple critical projects at the same time, ensuring they are executed on schedule and achieve tangible outcomes. It calls for strong project management capabilities, effective stakeholder engagement, and a hands-on approach when required.
This is a highly visible position that requires sharp analytical skills, the ability to influence others, and a strong focus on execution. The ideal candidate should be adept at setting priorities, working collaboratively across teams, and driving improvements at both a strategic level and within day-to-day operations on the shop floor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver supply chain improvement projects across logistics, planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, plant operations, imports/exports, audits, and compliance.
- Support supply chain teams with process optimization and operational problem-solving.
- Drive logistics and warehousing initiatives requiring coordination across large, multi-level teams.
- Lead planning projects involving data analysis, negotiation, and stakeholder alignment
- Optimize supply chain KPIs: service levels, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and operational hygiene.
- Define and implement new processes, systems, and technology solutions to address critical challenges.
- Train, guide, and motivate teams to achieve cost reduction and efficiency goals.
- Champion business excellence initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
