Role Overview:

As a Lead SAP Finance Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex financial accounting processes and modern cloud-based data ecosystems.

This role involves managing the end-to-end integration of SAP FICO and PeopleSoft environments with Google Cloud Platform, ensuring that financial data is accurately modeled, transformed, and accessible for high-level business intelligence.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including finance controllers, data engineers, and IT architects, to drive the migration of financial reporting into BigQuery.

Your work will directly influence the speed and accuracy of financial insights, enabling the business to scale its operations with robust, data-driven financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and oversee the integration of SAP FICO and PeopleSoft financial modules to ensure seamless data flow into cloud environments for reporting purposes.

- Design and implement scalable data models within BigQuery to support complex financial consolidation and multi-entity reporting requirements.

- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load financial data from legacy ERP systems into GCP, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

- Partner with finance leadership to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that financial dashboards and analytics tools provide actionable insights.

- Lead the troubleshooting of data discrepancies between ERP systems and cloud data warehouses, maintaining high standards of financial data accuracy.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices for financial data architecture and cloud-based integration strategies to foster a high-performance team environment.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO and PeopleSoft, with a deep understanding of financial accounting, general ledger, and cost accounting workflows.

- Proven ability to design and execute data modeling strategies within Google Cloud Platform, specifically utilizing BigQuery for large-scale financial datasets.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and performance tuning within cloud data warehouses.

- Experience in building and maintaining robust ETL processes to integrate disparate ERP systems into centralized data platforms.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical financial architectures to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

- A minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in SAP finance consulting and data engineering roles.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Bangalore, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to lead projects with minimal supervision.
